The Dangerous Universe Series is comprised of stand-alone books that revolve around the idea that we live in a dangerous universe. Each book is complete and is independent from the others.

A Dangerous Universe: Saving Crystal

Kyle Jamison is given command of the Rock Project and he's thankful for the opportunity to get away from his personal issues. The Rock Project has been studying a strange rock sphere that was uncovered hundreds of years ago. The Project has been going on for more than a hundred years at M.I.T. and there's been no breakthrough or progress to take place on finding out just what the Rock might be or why it emits energy. The project is basically a dead-end unit and only misfits and problematic sailors have been assigned there. No one expects Kyle to find anything new, and his main task is to make presentations to universities. But Kyle finds a linguist that challenges him and that will change everything. He discovers that Earth is about to have a dangerous universe come crashing down on it and time is running out. He also discovers Earth is its own worst enemy and he must find a way to prevent the government from causing its destruction.

A Dangerous Universe 2: A Warrior's Quest

A Dangerous Universe 2 explores what it means to exist in a universe where life is precarious at best. A Warrior's Quest explores what it means to be Human. Daniel Kellog was abducted by aliens from a hospital nursery when he was an infant with the intent of genetically changing him into a powerful warrior to defend the aliens who abducted him. The Alien Leader succeeded beyond his wildest dreams and discovered that he had possibly created the most powerful being in the universe. Too late the  alien realized he had taken a being from an extremely aggressive species who was now a danger to everyone he encountered and also to him and his ship. He banished Daniel from his ship to remove the threat leaving Daniel alone to wonder who he was and what he was. The only way for Daniel to find out was to find his species and he had no idea where Earth was located. He begins a quest to find Earth and the family he never knew.

A Dangerous Universe 3: Defending Eden

Humans were forced for the second time to flee their planet due to an imminent attack from an aggressive civilization. They decided the only way to avoid fleeing again was to find a planet where they could hide and not be found. They chose a world without oceans covered in forests with giant trees; they named it Eden because of the abundance of life and biodiversity.
The climate above the trees was hot year-round and the predators that inhabited Eden were out of a horrific nightmare. Giant meat-eating carnivores, pack hunting predators, carnivorous plants, and huge poisonous snakes were just a few of the animals they would have to learn to survive against.
After a thousand years, humanity learned to live and survive on Eden but now Eden was faced with the most dangerous predator in the galaxy, other humans. A starship has crashed on Eden and others were coming to investigate. One of the survivors of the crash is the future Queen of the most powerful planet in the galaxy and the ones looking for her intend to make sure she’s dead. The humans on Eden are now faced with having to defend Eden and staying hidden was not going to be easily done.
This is one of Saxon’s best books and the action starts on the first page and doesn’t let up. So buckle in and hold on; this is not a book easily put down.

Thomas was still going to make the search but there were humans in the colonies intent on preventing his planed search and others determined to take his ship from him to steal the advanced technology on it. Into this maelstrom a young Queen is determined to bring peace to humanity. It's not going to be easy; more than six thousand civilizations are at war, the Andromeda Galaxy has sent an invasion force to conquer planets to colonize, and nine powerful human civilizations have divided the galaxy among themselves for conquest. A Dangerous Universe 8: Escaping Destiny

Escaping Destiny takes place in the distant future when advanced humans have evolved from normal humans. They are more intelligent, stronger, and faster than normal humans and these advanced humans are responsible for developing new advanced technology. They ultimately discover how to build a star drive freeing humanity from Earth. The Age of Colonization begins and within two thousand years, more than a thousand planets have humans living on them. At that point, the advanced humans decide to leave normal humans and live together. The Great Exodus starts and soon, the new Plus Humans are attacking normal human planets taking slaves to build their civilizations. The advanced evolved Humans are quickly becoming the masters of humanity, and nothing can stand up to their warships. However, evolution is a trickster and has a way of creating turmoil; the new Masters never saw what was coming; neither did the rest of humanity either.

A Dangerous Universe 9: The Star Traveler

The Star Traveler deals with issues far more dangerous than aggressive alien civilizations although they are in the story.
The Sun is becoming unstable, and scientists have determined that it will go nova in just a matter of years. A rush to construct colony ships has started and the first one was completed after twelve years. The ship was named the Star Traveler and before other colony ships could be built; the Sun exploded.
This is the story of the surviving humans' quest to find a new planet to start a new beginning. Making that happen was not going to be easy; everywhere it went it encountered alien civilizations intent on its destruction. But one man who was forced on board the colony ship would make all the difference in the Dangerous Universe they were forced to try and survive. The ultimate discovery was that the Sun didn't explode by accident; it was deliberately caused by events that happened thousands of years in humanity's past during the Dark and Middle Ages.
Now humanity not only has to find a new planet to colonize but must also deal with the ones who caused the destruction of Earth.
