The Fight for Britannia

The colonists that settled Britannia fled from Earth more than sixteen thousand years in the past. They found a habitable planet and erased everything in the colony ship’s data banks about Earth in the hopes that none of their descendants would ever attempt to find mankind’s home world. Now, thousands of years after Britannia was settled, a war is looming between the Union and Coalition. Captain Grady Henricks is given a secret mission to discover how a small scout ship’s hull survived destruction from powerful blaster beams that destroyed everything but the hull. However, time is running out for Grady to finish his mission; the Coalition is becoming more aggressive and the war is going to kick off before Grady can complete his assignment.

During his mission, Grady discovers that the scout wasn’t attacked and destroyed by Coalition warships. An alien civilization has found Britannia and it quickly becomes clear that not only is the Union threatened by the Coalition but all of Britannia is in danger of being attacked by the aliens. War breaks out and the aliens decide to strike in the aftermath. The Fight for Britannia is on and it appears that the humans living on Britannia don’t have long to live. Grady is forced to do something that the original colonists prayed would never happen; he goes in search of an ancient planet that might be able to save the remaining humans on Britannia. Earth must be found and quickly.

Saving America

From the International bestselling author, Saxon Andrew, comes the second book in the Fight for Britannia series, Saving America. Thousands of years in the past, three colony ships, the Britannia, Australia, and America, fled from Earth to escape dictatorial rule and a coming nuclear war and set out to find habitable planets for settlements far from Earth.
The planet the Britannia Colony Ship settled has been destroyed by an advanced alien civilization. Its cities were laid waste and burned to the ground by orbital bombardment from a thousand alien warships. Many of Britannia’s survivors were moved to, Melbourne, the second colony which was founded by the Australia, but many chose to remain behind; they died when the aliens returned a year later and killed every one still alive on the planet.
Grady and Taffy Henricks, along with Rory and Abby Dunhan, are committed to distracting Earth and the aliens from discovering Melbourne’s location. For over two years they have been using two small advanced warships which Grady developed to harass their enemies and keep them fighting against each other. However, the aliens have discovered Earth’s location and the war between them is taking on a new direction and intensity. The coming confrontation is going to be cataclysmic.
The whereabouts of the third colony ship, the America, has remained a mystery. No one knows where in the Milky Way it went or even if it survived; Grady Henricks intends to go and find out. There are two dangerous civilizations that could destroy Melbourne if either of them discovers its existence. The aliens that destroyed Britannia, as well as Earth, have huge fleets of warships that greatly outnumber the forces Melbourne has available to defend it; construction of new warships is currently the prime focus of their government. Finding America is going to make the situation even more dangerous.

Fighting for Melbourne

From the International Bestselling Author, Saxon Andrew, comes the third book in the Fight for Britannia series, Fighting for Melbourne. Thousands of years ago, three colony starships launched from Earth to escape a powerful dictator and an impending nuclear war. Each starship found a habitable planet to settle and build a new free world for their colonists. However, the colonies Britannia and America were attacked and overpowered by advanced alien civilizations after thousands of years of peace. Fortunately, the third colony, Melbourne, managed to save some of the survivors hiding in the wilderness on Britannia before the planet was blasted from space. The population of America was later saved and taken to Melbourne during an elaborate plan that led to the two alien civilizations going to war. Now the final surviving colony of free humans is at risk of being discovered by the alien civilizations that destroyed both Britannia and America.

The only thing keeping Melbourne safe is that it remains unknown and hidden to its enemies, but the Colonies’ computers are predicting the odds of that continuing are shrinking… quickly. Transferring populations to the newly established colonies has begun but time is running o ut and the aliens’ warships outnumber their forces by hundreds of thousands. If Melbourne is found, saving it will be next to impossible; even attempting to save it would certainly lead to the discovery and subsequent destruction of the new colonies.

Humanity is faced with an impossible decision; should the colonies step aside and watch Melbourne’s destruction or will they choose Fighting for Melbourne instead.

The survival of the last free humans is at stake and this will be a hard story to put down. The twists and turns in Fighting for Melbourne will keep you on the edge of your seat until the final pages. I’m hoping you will enjoy this story enough to share it with all your Sci-Fi friends.

Fighting for Humanity

The last of the three original colonies settled by mankind thousands of years ago has been destroyed. Britannia, America, and Melbourne have all been attacked and destroyed by aggressive, advanced alien civilizations. But the humans on Melbourne managed to settle other colonies before Melbourne was found and attacked. Now the colonies are hiding in the outer spiral arm of the Milky Way building up their defenses against the day when they can confront their attackers.

Sixteen years have passed, and New Britannia and the colonies have continued to build up their forces without being discovered by their enemies. But one day, the time would come to confront their attackers. The challenge will be difficult; their enemies still far outnumber them and the only thing keeping them safe is to remain hidden. But sometimes, events can force one out of hiding. Saving Humanity is one such event.

The final book in the Fighting for Britannia Series, Fighting for Humanity, is now live on Amazon Kindle. A bit longer than the other books in the series at 105,000 words, it’s a fitting conclusion to the series, and I hope you’ll enjoy reading it and sharing it with your Classic SciFi loving friends.

It takes off early and doesn’t slow down; there are old friends and new characters that add to the saga. Taffy and Grady now have a family and they play a major role in this story. Grab a warm drink, sit back and enjoy the ride, this is one you’ll remember for a long time.

Grady reacts by aborting the move and things get thrown for a loop; however, sometimes events have a way of happening even when they’ve been cancelled.

Civil War

The galaxy is finally at peace with all the aggressive alien civilizations being removed as threats. It should be a time of peace, but a new Prime Minister in the Colonies is determined to force all of humanity to fleets outnumbering the combined forces of Britannia and Earth more than ten-to-one, the outcome appears be in under one government. He is determined to force Brittania and Earth to become a Colony under his control. His plan has taken years to come to fruition, and he’s played on the innate fear the Colonies have about advanced civilizations conquering them. Their paranoia has led to Britannia and Earth being given an offer they must refuse.

If they accept the offer, they lose their independence. If they refuse, then Civil War between the human civilizations in the Milky Way is unavoidable. With the Colonies’ inevitable. Once again mankind is faced with a stark reality; alien civilizations aren’t the real danger to them; the real danger is from its themselves.

The book takes off fast and doesn’t seem to slow down. This is the finishing touch to the series and will hold your attention until the end.

Britannia 7 - Civil War is the final book in the Fight for Britannia Series written by Saxon Andrew. The Colonies innate paranoia of being attacked by other advanced civilizations didn’t only extend to alien civilizations but also included the two other civilizations inhabited by humans. With their increased military might, the Prime Minister decided to use his power to take control of the only two human governments still not members of the Colonies. He intended to be the ruler of all humanity, and he started planning to accomplish that goal years earlier. Once again as throughout history, the most dangerous species to humanity was itself. Earth and Britannia were in the cross hairs of a coming Civil War and there was little they could do to stop it. They were heavily outnumbered by the Colony Fleets and time was running out.

The final book in my, Fight for Britannia series, is now live on Amazon Kindle. A new Prime Minister in the Colonies could threaten that peace by attempting to force all of humanity to be under one government. He is determined to force Britannia and Earth to become a united colony under his control. His plan has taken years to come to fruition, and he’s preyed on the Colonist innate fear of being conquered by advanced civilizations. Paranoia has led Britannia and Earth to an offer they must refuse.

If they accept the offer, they lose their independence. If they refuse, a Civil War between the human civilizations in the Milky Way is unavoidable. With the Colonies’ fleets outnumbering the combined forces of Britannia and Earth more than ten-to-one, the outcome appears inevitable. Once again mankind is faced with a stark reality; alien civilizations aren’t the real danger; the real danger is from within.

The book takes off fast and seems to not slow down for a breath. This is the finishing touch to a series I’ve truly enjoyed writing. I believe it will hold your attention right up until the last pages.
